With the call “Young Researchers – Supporting PhD graduates in the early stages of their careers,” Fondazione Cariplo support those who are ready to take on this challenge. We are talking about new generations of female and male researchers with a clear research idea, a vision for the future, and the ability, passion, and commitment needed to make it happen.
Since 2014, Fondazione Cariplo have supported more than 200 projects with around 50 million euros, aimed at helping young people at the beginning of their research careers and enhancing vision, talent, and skills. A potential that generates knowledge and contributes to collective growth.

Pergine Festival is a theatre and performing arts festival that, since 1976, has drawn its vital energy from the city that hosts it, weaving a constant dialogue with the community and the urban landscape.
Over the years, the festival’s activity has expanded beyond the summer season, becoming a year-round cultural engine: through artist residencies, school projects, participatory productions and site-specific interventions, the festival nurtures a thriving creative ecosystem.
It is a centre for experimentation, championing innovative dramaturgical languages that engage audiences and inhabit spaces in unconventional ways.
Particular attention is given to emerging artists and to a plurality of artistic voices. Pergine Festival believes that culture is a universal right and works to make its programming accessible to everyone, without exception.

IRA – International Institute for Performing Arts It’s an international platform for dance and contemporary performing arts. To fill a cultural void and create new connections.
IRA Festival brings to the stage both national and international productions, and for the first time in Southern Italy, presents choreographers and performers who represent the new trends in contemporary performing arts. The goal is to create opportunities for discovery and perspective, both for audiences and industry professionals. IRA is destruction, vision, and creation — a bridge between territories and generations. It is an attempt to build a new model, to chart a path for the artistic institutions of the future.

Festival on new languages of the international contemporary scene, Primavera dei Teatri is placed in Castrovillari, a peripheral town in Calabria, one of the most disadvantaged regions of Italy, always cut off from the most significant cultural currents that run through Europe.
Founded in 1999, the festival is now considered one of the leading events in the Italian artistic panorama. Thanks to a courageous and rigorous project, which has always aimed to present the best of the new international production, Primavera dei Teatri has now become an essential reference point for professionals, critics, artists and for the audience coming from all over Italy and from abroad. The festival is now an “outpost” in the South for new creativity, a place for meetings and exchanges between artists, professionals and audience.

Litografia Bulla is the oldest artists’ lithography studio still in operation. Founded in 1818 in Paris, it then found its definitive headquarters in Rome in 1840. It soon became, from the first half of the 1900s, an important point of reference for the artistic community.
The studio is now carried on by Romolo, Rosalba, Beatrice and Flaminia Bulla, respectively the sixth and seventh generation of printers, who continue to keep the technique alive by experimenting with contemporary artists in the production of multiples, artists’ books and limited editions prints.
In 2020, Litografia Bulla opened Passaggi, a large window which opens from the two most historic rooms of the studio, in which the works of artists who have experimented and explored the interesting interweaving of traditional and contemporary graphic techniques are exhibited.

Lorenzo Bacci is a photographer and visual artist based in Milan.
He obtained a BA in Economics from the University of Florence, a Master in Photography and Visual Design from NABA and is currently pursuing an MSc in Cultures of Communication at the University of Milan.
Since 2019 he’s part of the artist duo Bacci | Moriniello, employing a multidisciplinary approach in their research with a specific focus on examining how technology is actively reshaping and altering our perception of reality.

Oscenica is a young film and theater production company founded in 2018. A collective of young producers and artists under 35, it was created with the intention of developing and promoting projects in the film and performance sectors, by young authors from around the world, with a strong inclination towards internationalization and actively engaged in the most important social issues of the contemporary world.

Gibellina Photoroad is a unique and unusual event, the first and unparalleled open air and site-specific festival in Italy, and one of the few in the world. Large-format prints, outdoor exhibitions, projections and installations, thought to dialogue with the urban space of Gibellina, town without any kind of visual and light pollution in which the vision of the exhibitions is not disturbed by the urban chaos.

Niklas Erlewein studied architecture at the University of Stuttgart and graduated in 2018 with The Collective Monument under Andrea Zanderigo, Baukuh. Between 2018 and 2022 he collaborated with the renowned Swiss firm Herzog & de Meuron. Since 2023 he works independently as an architect in different collaborations. As a trained carpenter and architect the scale of the work varies between structures and spacial configurations to furniture and object design.

Cenci was born in 1980 and is a center of educational and artistic experimentation that researches around ecological, intercultural and inclusion themes. Pietro Angelini, born in 1991 in Grosseto, Tuscany, is an Italian actor, author, and director based in Rome since 2010. In theater, he has collaborated with the performance arts collective Dynamis and worked with notable figures such as Bob Wilson, Semen Aleksandrovskiy, Kinkaleri, Collettivo Cinetico, and Odin Teatret. His work spans both theatrical and cinematic projects.
